[Resolved] Display child post taxonomies while editing parent post

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Feature request to be able to edit taxonomy terms and not just custom fields of child posts when adding them on the parent post edit screen.

Solution:
The UI for this is changing but still only envisages adding custom fields. Adding taxonomy terms has been requested, and accepted by the developers for some future update.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for all the hard work. Every time I come to make a new site using toolset it seems to have progressed and got that little bit better.

Just a quick feature request here. It would be nice to be able to edit taxonomies that belong to child posts right within the "post relationship" section of the parent post.

For instance:

I have a parent post type called marketplace and a child post type called marketplace region. regions have a flat taxonomy called continent.

I currently have to go into each region separately to add/edit continents but it would be nice if I could do it right from the parent post. I know that space is a premium in the post relationship rows but the ID column seems to take the most space and is likely never needed by users of a toolset app after it has been developed.

Thanks again.

The new post relationships which you can currently see in the betas allows you to add custom fields when adding related posts, which you can also do for the first time with CRED forms.

But with each it is still the case that you cannot add taxonomies.

I pinged the developers who said that sounds like a reasonable request, so I'm creating an internal request ticket and they will hopefully add it in due course.

Thanks for the feedback.
