Hello,

I am checking on the status of being able to display a list of all taxonomy terms using Toolset Blocks. I found this support ticket from last year: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/display-a-list-of-all-taxonomy-terms/ and have a very similar issue with my current site.

Is this functionality available in Blocks or are we still only able to do this through Views?

Thank you,
Richard

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Toolset blocks offers only post type views. You will have to use the classic view in order to create taxonomy or user view.

Hi Minesh,

Thank you for your response and the update.

Out of curiosity, is this functionality still in the works for Blocks? And if so, is there a general timeline for when this might be available in Blocks?

At present, Toolset Blocks and Toolset Views do not co-exists. When I try to activate both I get the error message: "Toolset Blocks is a different flavour of Toolset Views. You can not use both versions at the same time, so we have deactivated one."

Obviously, Blocks is the future as View is now considered legacy. I just want to be sure that I continue using the right tool for the job.

Thanks again,
Richard

You can just install blocks and then navigate to:
=> Toolset => Settings => General Tab => Editing Experience section and chose the third option "Show both the legacy and Blocks interface and let me choose which to use for each item I build".

You will require to refresh the page once and then you will see the Views menu within the Toolset menu.

This will allow you to use both block and legacy views at the same time.

Thank you Minesh. Being able to have the Blocks plugin activated and still use the Views interface is a nice work-around. I look forward to this functionality being built into the Blocks.
