[Resolved] Disabling Divi sidebar in content template

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
Client wanted to set Divi theme options on a Content Template to be able to disable the sidebar, but couldn't find the options.

Solution:
They are not visible on Content Templates if you have Layouts enabled, which is not the intended with workflow with Divi.

Tell us what you are trying to do? i try to deactivate the divi sidebar in the content template

Is there any documentation that you are following?
Yes:
https://toolset.com/documentation/recommended-themes/toolset-divi-integration/create-templates-for-custom-post-types-with-divi-builder-and-toolset/

Is there a similar example that we can see?

What is the link to your site? No. The page is in dev mode

I think the tutorial is outdated....
In step 3 it says:
You will be taken to the Content Template editor. Click on the Edit with Divi Builder button to edit this template.
When i click here i am forwarded to the editor using Bootstrap. Although in the settings i clicked on (this theme doesnt use bootstrap).

So the only way for me was to create one template via:
toolset>content tenplates>
and there:
Divi Builder
This Content Template is used in Filme [Single], and was created using Divi Builder.

Edit with Divi Builder

When i click Edit with Divi Builder i can edit the template (which is fine), but there is no way to disable the sidebar and other settings.

Please help.
Thanks

Hi Hannes

I used the Dashboard link to create a template for a single post type and the steps appeared the same as in the linked tutorial.

I would only expect something different if you had Layouts active, but when using Divi you should not use Layouts.

On the page to edit the Content Template, but before launching the Divi page builder, I could see the theme options section where I was able to specify Full-width layout, for example, with no sidebars. See screenshot.

You should be able to see the same.

Hello Nigel,
thank you for the quick reply. It was all my bad....
I fixed the problem shortly after my request by deinstalling toolset layouts.
Just like you also said.
Everything is fine now.

Thanks a lot
Hannes
