I have a site with a couple CPT setup and a custome User Role. I want users with this role to be able to edit the CPT which were assigned to them but I do not want them to be able to create new posts. I cannot see an option to disable new post creation. How can I do?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I would like to know are you talking about backend or frontend?

if you do not have created create form then user will not be able to create new item. Can you please share full workflow for your requirement and then I will be able to guide you in the right direction.

Please share all required information and problem URL where you want to show edit post and where you want to restrict user from creating new post.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
