missing filters.jpg

Hi,
I have noticed that post filter selection is different between classic view, where they are all available, and block views, where just "Post relationship ..." is available (see attachment). I'd need to add a filter selection by post ID in a block view, but it looks like it's not possible, any workaround for this ?
Many thanks and regards
Nicola

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I would like to know - do you want to add frontend filter for post ID so that user can filter the results of view based on the selected post ID?

Hi Minesh,
Yes exactly, I'd like the users to be able to search a post by post ID. The PostID field (and other standard post fields) seems not to be available in a block view.

Nicola

The thing is that you can not add frontend filters for post ID or other post fields.

You can add frontend filters to filter view results with text search (post title, content), taxonomy and custom fields.

Here is a doc that maybe helpful about how you can build text search with relevanssi:

Ok I see. I have impemented free text search already but that unfortunately doesn't search in postID. I will wait to get some feedback from users if it's really important for them.
Thanks
