Tell us what you are trying to do?

I have build a single layout for a CPT with Elementor. The CPT is perfectly displayed on the frontend as I need (Elementor's layout used to display the CPT).

In the backend, a view lists all the cpt with and edit post link for each raw. Of course, the single layout is used on the edit page.

What I'd like to do : I'd like to use a different layout for editing the cpt on the backend than the one used for the frontend display.

Is that possible ? How ?

If you need I can give you access to the site. The only page you'll be able to see without access is the frontend view and the CPT detail page.

Thank you.

Laurent.

PS :
Generate Press + GP Premium
Elementor Pro
Toolset's plugins of course !

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Well - basically, you can assign layout or content template to display your content using layouts or content template on front-end. You are saying that you want to use a different layout on backend?

Could you please share problem URL and access details so I can check exactly where you are looking to implement it.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I would additionally need your permission to de- and re-activate Plugins and the Theme, and to change configurations on the site. This is also a reason the backup is really important. If you agree to this, please use the form fields I have enabled below to provide temporary access details (wp-admin and FTP).

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Well - sorry, but its still not clear for me.

I'm on this edit form page:
=> hidden link

Which layout do you want to assign?

Do you mean that whatever I see on front-end with the following link:
=> hidden link

Do you want to display the same edit form etc.. on the backend (admin)?
