[Resolved] Did this ever get natively supported? Create slider from repeatable images

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The issue here is that the user wanted to know if there was Native support for Sliders with Repeatable field images.

Solution:

Unfortunately no this is not possible. The best way to do it by using the solution below.

Tell us what you are trying to do? I plan to create a CPT for Projects. I would like to have a repeatable field for project images. Once I have those images, I would like to display a slider on the individual project page that shows the images associated with that project in the form of a slider.

Is there any documentation that you are following? This is really old, I'm hoping there's a much more straight forward method for doing now: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/unable-to-create-a-simple-slider-from-a-repeating-field/#post-421904

Hi Larry,

There is still no native support for repeatable field images, however this can be done by using the flexslider js along with views to do this.
