Hi,
The following page has many individual blurbs, text and image gallery elements: hidden link
For example, "representation", "exhibitions", "Interviews", etc are content sections each containing multiple entries. Will I need a Text module for each individual entry?
With the many support tickets discussed thus far, I still do not have a clear vision of how this all comes together in a working site.
Can you please a suggestion as to how I can integrate a similar page for front-end form content management?
Okay it looks like you've got a page here with a fairly complex design including several columns and several lists of content, and you want to be able to manage this entire page from the front-end of the site. For now, let's say you have a list of representation items, a list of exhibition items, and so on for each of these major sections of the page. First, you must determine how these lists are collated, because that determines how the content is managed.
For each list, you need to know if the list content driven by custom post types on the site. For example, does the list of Interviews correspond to individual Interview posts on the site, or is it simply a text list that is managed manually? If the list corresponds to individual posts on the site, then you must first create those custom post types, and create CRED forms to add and edit those individual posts. Then you will create Views that display a filtered list of those posts, and insert the Views on the Resume page. You will not edit the lists directly in the Resume page, they will be automatically generated based on the individual posts.
However, if the list does not correspond to individual posts on the site, then the list can be stored in a WYSIWYG custom field assigned to the Resume Page. That list content can be edited on the front-end by editing the Resume Page itself using a CRED form. Your client will modify the contents of each WYSIWYG field directly to change the list contents. The custom fields should be added to your Page's Content Template.
So that means there are basically two types of lists to consider: custom post type lists and basic text lists. Custom post type list items have some advantages, for example each custom post has a custom URL, and custom post type archives are created automatically by WordPress. Basic text lists have other advantages, for example you can edit the Resume Page in a CRED form and modify all the WYSIWYG custom fields at the same time in one form.
Once you determine where the contents of each list comes from, then you can begin adding the necessary custom fields and Views, and inserting them in your Page's Content Template.
Thank you for sharing this information. The custom post type list offers an exciting range of possibilities for other projects. However, based on your examples, a basic text list is what is needed for this particular site.
Let's say that the "representation" list has 6 entries. From the front-end, the client wants to remove one existing entry and add another. Would that be a selector field or another type of field?
The entire contents of the Representation section would be managed in a single WYSIWYG custom field. Your clients would modify the contents of the entire WYSIWYG field and apply formatting as needed using the WYSIWYG editor in a CRED form. See the attached screenshot for an example.
Thank you for the clarification. I will begin setting the page fields. Please keep this ticket open if possible.
I'm sure all will make sense once the page is completed.
Okay great. I will mark this ticket as pending an update from you. No need to reply right now. The ticket will remain open for 30 days.
Hello,
If I have static content on the "Template Page", created with Divi Builder, that should appear on every page linked to the template, is there any need for Toolset integration for displaying the static content?
Can I set the static content in Divi modules alongside the modules that contain Toolset Fields and Views on the same template and have the page display accordingly?

You can mix Toolset and static content in Divi Builder, there's nothing inherently wrong with that.
In reference to Screen Shot 2018-03-20 at 7.13.18 PM.png post above regarding the WYSIWYG editor in a CRED form. Will this same single WYSIWYG custom field enable Media Files, such as images, to be added to the field?
For example, a thumbnail image for each of the posted galleries?
Yes, you have the option to enable the Add Media button above all the CRED form WYSIWYG custom fields. That can be configured in the CRED form editor screen.
I am waiting for responses to other related support tickets. If possible, please keep this ticket open.
