[Resolved] Demo and reference links should be shown in support threads

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I can't see the links in another ticket that discusses the Real Estate reference site.

Solution: Use the discover-wp.com site to create your own copy of the Real Estate reference site.

Hi,

if we search Toolset's support threads, we might find useful info and links with reference to demo or example solutions.
For example, I was checking this thread:
https://toolset.com/forums/topic/best-way-of-creating-a-country-state-city-relationship-and-a-parametric-search/
and most of the referred links are hidden (and I suppose those are not private links of the client but useful for us).

I think Toolset should whitelist a bunch of its demo, test, docs, etc. domains, subdomains
- also maybe others like Pastebin, Github, etc. - ,
and allow us to reach those links.
Saying otherwise: it should have done long ago... :-/

Best,
V.

Hi, we do have a process for exposing certain links in the forums but unfortunately in this case it would not be helpful. The demo sites that were created for this specific ticket have been discarded over time. In their place, I recommend checking out the Real Estate reference site at https://discover-wp.com. This is our current demo system, where you can create a free account and install any of several reference sites including the Real Estate demo.

I also want to let you know the option to limit filter inputs according to available results, mentioned by the original ticket author, is now explained in a related document: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/front-page-filters/advanced-settings-custom-search/
