Hi,

I deleted custom fields but they still show up in the "Add new fields" dialog when choosing to select from existing fields. The screenshot shows two fields "Popularity2" which are deleted. I already cleared the cache via Toolset > Settings > Front-end Content. Also I cleared the entire site cache via Litespeed.

Is there a trash folder I need to empty?

Thanks,
Arno

Hi Arno,

Thank you for getting in touch.

In order to permanently delete a custom field you must do it by going to Toolset -> Custom Fields at the bottom of the screen there is a button called Post Field Control. Once you click this it will take you to the screen where you can see all the custom fields on your site.

All that is needed here is to search for the slug of your specific custom field and delete it here.

Thanks,
Shane
