[Resolved] Defining z-index for map markers

This support ticket is created 5 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Hi there,

I'm using a View to put markers on a map. That's working fine. The View uses a custom field to distinguish between posts from 2019 and 2018. Google Maps shows markers stacked from top to bottom - so those near the bottom are above (z-index) those near the top of the map.

Is there ANY way in Views to modify the z-index to show those from 2019 above those from 2018?

Well - I see you are already using the spiderfy to display the overlap markers.

There is no native feature to add z-index or customize the markers but we have few hooks that you should check if that help you:
