I updated my site to the new version of WP today and now I can't pick dates in the editor. Prior to today, I am able to pick a date from a calendar that pops up when I click the date field (custom field for my custom post type). Any suggestions?

After I sent my request yesterday, I Googled to see if there are others out there who have run into the same situation as I did (upgraded to new WordPress and suddenly datepicker stops working in the editing interface). I found that I needed a plugin called Enable jQuery Migrate Helper to reenable the datepicker, which is now working again in the editor. I thought it was a Toolset issue since it's for custom field that I added to a custom post type.
Like, even in Block editing mode, the datepicker just won't work yesterday. I figured that maybe the Classic Editor was to blame, but such wasn't the case it seems.
So, I don't know whether this issue will resurface or not. It likely will?
By the way, here is the warning shown by the Enable jQuery Migrate Helper I installed. This showed up on the backend editing interface (where I compose entries/posts).
