Insert a datepicker field in a cred form
What is the link to your site? hidden link
A login will be required, please enable private reply fields and I will send credentials.
Once a requisition is in Status: Approved – Ordering, it shows a row for each item with expected arrival date, which is a date field. However when I click the field, the calendar does not pop up, nor can I type in the field. I don't see any JS errors in the console that look like they are related to the datepicker. Please advise.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
That is really strange.
Can you please pass me problem URL where I can see the issue with admin access details.
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Different issue, but on the same form, the items to orders field doesn't want to pick up the default value of the current post in the loop. Maybe after we address the date field, you can help me with that as well?
I just noticed that the datepicker field has the attribute readonly="readonly" applied. I have tried explicitly declaring readonly="false" in the field shortcode, but it still renders as readonly... not sure why that would be... I have not read anywhere that says I can't use a form inside a view...
I didnt get time to return to this today. But I will try to run a test by adding a Toolset form having the date custom field within the view and get back to your with my findings as soon as possible.
I've enabled debug and error logging and don't see anything strange in there. The error log only shows one error on a different field. What am I missing?
I just checked with my test site where I created a post form having the date field "sr-date" and then added this form within the view's loop and I can see the date field is populated as expected. You can see it working here:

In order to minimize the cause of the issue and to ensure that there is no third-party plugin or theme conflict:
Could you please try to resolve your issue by deactivating all third-party plugins as well as the default theme to check for any possible conflicts with any of the plugins or themes? - Do you see any differeence?
