Within the last week we've noticed an issue with a custom date field (Review Date) in one of our custom post types (Reviews) that we had defined several years ago. The field is now grayed out and won't allow edits. Other fields in the group continue to work as expected.

Hi John,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Not sure why this is occurring. It may be because of a plugin conflict and errors being thrown in your website console.

What I would do in a case like this is to temporarily disable all your non-toolset plugins and check again to see if the field is still accessible.

Once you've done this please let me know the results.

Thanks,
Shane

It was a conflict with a older plugin. Disabling got everything working again. Thank you!
