This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

I'm building a test site which will eventually move to the home site.
The reference site installer says it will erase all my current content.
I want to make sure it will ONLY affect the testsite and not the homesite of Legacy Lands (which is an active site.)

Hi Eric,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

The reason why you are getting this is that our framework installer will need a fresh website to work with because it also installs sample content.

If you were to do this on your Live site, you will in fact need to remove all the data. The best way I can think of this to help is that you will need to export your current data and then import the site type that you want using the framework installer and then reimport the information.

However I was also encourage you to keep a complete backup of the website as well.
