I am trying to:
I have set up a directory of local holiday cottages using a custom post archive.
The site uses the Kadence Theme and Kadence Blocks Pro.
As per my separate previous ticket, I'm guessing that I have to set up a Custom View in order to add a search to the home page.
I've added this to the page but it won't display on the front-end.
Plus, when I click the drop-down for the destination page (for results), this is empty (no pages listed).
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
I expected to see: The search box, with results going to the search page (View) when used.
I had a look at this for you and the issue was that you hadn't set a page for the search results to be on. I've seen where you've set the view search to be displayed but then there wasn't any results page setup in the settings . See Screenshot.
What I did was to add the results page to the setting and the view showed up fine.
Please modify this setting on the backend and set the correct page that should be used for the results.
Nothing had changed, this is a select2 search field so its expecting that you type in the name of the page that you're looking to add. You need to at least start typing the first 3 letters.
