I am trying to:
Hide posts in a custom search by assigning them to a post group the current user is not part of.

Link to a page where the issue can be seen:
all (search for "testseite")

I expected to see:
not that post in the custom search
I cannot hide a post, if it´s shown there!

Instead, I got:
that post in the custom search
(When I try to open that post, it gives me, as defined a 404.)

Thank you, regards, Achim

Hi, Views is not currently set up to use Access post group restrictions. All post groups will be shown, and if the User tries to click through, the post will show a 404. There is an improvement request in place to implement this logic, but for now the results of a View will not respect Access post group rules. I have added your vote to this feature request so our team is aware that more people are requesting this functionality, but I do not have a delivery timeline available.

One way to accomplish something similar is to use Access conditionals, but these are based on User Role and not Post Group:
