Custom Search Page: Link Featured Image to Post & Align Search and Submit boxes

Tell us what you are trying to do?
I am trying to link the featured image in a view to the post it is related to on a custom search page I'm making. I also cannot get the search boxes and fields to align evenly.
Is there any documentation that you are following?

My issue is resolved now. When I was creating the View, the example post did not have a featured image attached to the parent yet, so the "Link Settings" was not loading. I just happened to change the example and the Link Settings loaded as mentioned in the post I referenced.
