hidden link (this is a cloned site of a live site)
For example, i type the word 'place' in the search bar and it brings up ALL classes. I try to use a filter in the 'series' box but it brings up all the classes too. I tried de-activating all plugins and that did not work either.
I would love to assist you with this. Checking the site I was able to see the issue.
Looking at your debug information I see that you have quite a number of plugins installed. Sometimes 3rd party plugins will overwrite our views database query to retrieve the information.
What I recommend that you do if you haven't already done so is to temporarily disable all your non-toolset plugins and try the search again.
Next what I recommend that you do is to remove the filters completely and re-add them to your view.
If this does not work, would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the site so that I can check on the search to ensure all the query filters have been added correctly.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks,
Shane
I uninstalled all my plugins after I had sent this email, just to be sure they weren't interfering. I also removed the filters from view, saved, then re-added them, saved. The issue still exists though.
I sent you admin access in the first email. Thanks for your help!
The issue was that the filters were there but the Query filters were missing.
To resolve this all that was needed was to Click "New Filter " on the search and pagination editor and re-add the filters and the correct query filters will get added.
Weird, I wrote back to this ticket 4 days ago by email but it doesn't show up in here. I wrote:
No that didn't do anything unfortunately. You can test by searching for the word 'place' in the search bar or using any of the dropdown filters at top. Shows results that have nothing to do with them.
I believe there are some small issues with this however it works fine when I added the submit button to it. I found out that sometimes the search doesn't work when u type in the value only.
