[Resolved] Custom role cannot see the Yoast SEO plugin

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem: I would like to manage Access settings for the Yoast SEO plugin.

Solution: Go to Change Permissions and click Other capabilities. You will find these options in the "Other capabilities" section, near the bottom. There is no section specific for Yoast permissions.

Hi,

I created a custom role bu using Access plugin, but the role is not able to see the Yoast SEO plugin when they log-in.

How can I fix this issue?

Thanks in advance,

Hi Alex,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Is the custom role an admin role ? If not then this user might not be able to see yoast.

Alternatively you may need to edit the permissions of that role so they can have access to it.

Take a look at the link below.
hidden link

For the SEO roles i believe they can be located by doing this. Go to your custom role in access and click Change Permissions then click Other in the popup and look for the roles in the screenshot.

Please try this and let me know if it helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Hi, Shane is unavailable today so he asked me to check in on this ticket.

When I go to Change Permissions and click Other, unfortunately there is no Yoast SEO area.
Correct, you will find these options in the "Other capabilities" section, near the bottom. There is no section specific for Yoast permissions.

Let me know if you are still unable to find these options or if enabling them does not resolve the problem for you.
