We are setting up a site for an exhibition. Exhibitors register using a custom form. Managers should be able to manage the exhibitors list from the front end: edit, sort, export, update etc.

I've integrated the "edit post" link. It works fine, yet it brings the manager to the back office of WP.
I couldn't manage to figure out if and how to do this using Toolset.

Is there a way to edit post from the front-end?

Hi Hanael,

This is definitely possible.

Its actually done by doing the following .
https://toolset.com/documentation/getting-started-with-toolset/publish-content-from-the-front-end/forms-for-editing/
Please let me know if the instructions above were able to help.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello Shane,

Thank you for your fast answer and sorry for my late reply. We were benchmarking some other stuff regarding to that matter.

Prior to my enquiry, I've setup correctly - I guess - following the instructions in your link.

However, when I click on "Edit" from the front end, it brings me to the WP back office to edit the form. What I would like is editing "in context", not leaving the site front-end (f.i with lightbox, directly in the table or whatever).

Is this possible ?

Hi Hanael,

The link that i've sent in the previous post should've been able to guide you through the steps to get this working.

Would you mind allowing me to have access to the site as well as the area where you are trying to set this up so that I can check if it has been done correctly?

Thanks,
Shane
