Custom post type not visible as dynamic source

This support ticket is created 3 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I am a complete beginner with toolset and I don't dig how to set things up. Nothing seems to work like in your videos...
I did set up a new Custom post type, now I try to design an Archive Page. But when I try to show an image or text from CP fieldsI won't get it shown as a dynamic source. Pease help me!

Hi Heike,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Based on the issue here it appears to be caused by the post that is being used as the preview to setup the template.

At the top of your template page there should be a View With option. Please use this to select the post that you want to use as the base to create the template.

Ensure that this post has all the fields that will be used on the template filled in.
