Custom Post Type - Convert to Woocommerce Product

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I'm not sure if this is possible, so it's more of a question. Here is the situation:

I have a site with a custom post type created called 'Products'. These products were never intended for purchase, just to show online so custom post type was a better option than WooCommerce. The post type has custom fields such as brand, size etc.

Now, because of the COVID situation, they want to be able to sell online. So I need to add the option to purchase these products through something like WooCommerce. Can this be done through the existing custom post type, or will I need to export all of these and re-import them as WooCommerce products? If I take this option, can you add custom fields to the WooCommerce product post type?

Thank you for getting in touch.

What you can try doing is to exporting your products using the wordpress default exporter and then import them into woocommerce using the plugin below.
