Custom post not shown with location filter

This support ticket is created 4 years, 3 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi Toolset support!

I have a custom post type called 'Nieuwbouwprojecten' (building projects). To give you an example, here's a view with a filtered result set: hidden link

As you can see, there are 2 search results results for the moment:
- NOG 2 LUXUEUZE APPARTEMENTEN OP TOPLIGGING
- Residentie Leiesluis

My problem is: there should be a third one, namely 'Residentie De Valk'. (see hidden link). It surely is located within the location that I've set in the filter ('Deerlijk' + 5 km around Deerlijk). I've checked de queries, but it seems all normal to me.

Can you check what's going on please?

I took a look at this for you. Right now i'm seeing 4 posts in the results.

If possible I would like to have a more detailed look a the post that isn't showing up. To do this I will need admin access to the website.

I've enabled the private fields for your next response.

Hi Roularta,

I see you have a highly complex view with many conditionals.

What I would recommend that you do as a small test is to make a second view as a test with a similar setup without all of the conditionals.

It can be a case where the post that is not showing up isn't meeting the conditional cases that you've setup in your view.

If the post then shows up , I would recommend reviewing your conditional code in the view to see where the condition of your post isn't being met.

Hi Shane,

Thanks for your reply! In the meanwhile, we managed to solve the issue. The only thing is that we don't know how. We did analyse our conditionals but that wasn't the problem. We changed the address to another one and then changed is back. Suddenly, the building project was between the search results. Very bizarre, but happy it is solved 😉
