Tell us what you are trying to do?

I am trying to select custom fields in dynamic fields or conditional blocks but the option is not there. These simple functionalities used to work flawlessly when I first built the site with Toolset. However, as wordpress, astra, and toolset updates kept coming out, this basic functionality of being able to select custom fields in toolset blocks GUI dropdowns stopped working. I can still use shortcodes without issue, it's just the GUI.

Is there a similar example that we can see?

In this post type - "Get Involved" with Custom Field Group "Work Fields", I do not see any of the relevant fields in the dropdowns.

Hello,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Would you mind providing me with admin access to the site so that I can have a look at this one for you ?

I've enabled the private fields for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Rithvik,

Thank you for the credentials.

I took a look a the problem for you and wasn't able to find any issues at all.

I'm able to insert a conditional block as well as to find the custom field to set for that conditional block.

Perhaps you can record a short video or a screenshot highlighting the issue so that I can understand better.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane, I see what you mean. Please take a look at the Content Template for the Get Involved Post Type. That's where I''m encountering the issue. Linking a screen recording for your reference.

Hi Rithvik,

I see the issue now.

To resolve this you should see the option at the top of your edit template screen called "view with".

You will need to select a post that has these custom fields to use as a base when editing the template. Once you've done this then you should start seeing your custom fields showing up.

Thanks,
Shane

Worked like a charm, can't believe something so simple was causing me so much trouble these last few weeks. Thank you so much for the quick fix!
