Custom fields not loading in WP admin

This support ticket is created 5 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

A custom field group has stopped loading. It just forever says "Loading..." on the screen but never loads the content.

Hi Matt

This sounds like it could be related to the existing issue with custom field groups you reported, although on testing editing the TV Deals page on my local copy of your site I don't see the same problem, the Offers custom field metabox opens, no problem.

Can you check the browser console on that page because I would expect to see a JavaScript error reported.

On my local copy of your site I removed all the non-essential plugins for testing the original issue, and it could be that you have a conflict with another plugin, which would mean performing the same test on your site with the non-Toolset plugins disabled to see if you still see the same issue.

Managed to find the plugin that was causing the conflict, fixed now. Had to drop this plugin as it was causing issues with others as well.
