Custom fields disappeared

This support ticket is created 5 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,

My custom fields have disappeared in the administration interface. I have disabled all plugins, deleted and recreated all custom fields, disabled and enabled toolset but custom fields no longer appear. I have attached an image that shows what is happening.

I visited your site and went to the Toolset > Custom Fields page.

The field groups look greyed-out, and sure enough if I hover over the field groups I can see that the have been de-activated (there is a link to activate them).

So each of your field groups is inactive. You should activate them to see the custom fields in your post edit screens.

I don't know what would have caused them to be de-activated.
