We have tried several themes (also Bootstrap ones), but we are not really satisfied about the combination with Toolset.

Now we use Extra from Elegant Themes with Divi Builder. We tried to have the Divi integration, but it seems to require quite some CSS still.

So, we decided to add custom fields to the normal post. From there we made a CRED form, (as we only have one type of post anyway). So far, so good.

But in the view we created the grid (3 columns) the posts are not aligned.
Is there a way to get the posts shown aligned and taking up the same space per post (both on laptop and on smart phone screens)?

Many thanks and best regards,

Ed

Hi Eddy,

Thank you for contacting our support forum.

Do you have an example of this setup that I can have a look at ?

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello Shane,

We tested some more options and whether we add custom fields to the normal posts or to a CTP, the search results for a parametric query show the "posts with several fields) but not in nice blocks.

Many thanks and best regards,

Ed

Hi Eddy,

Would it be possible to get a link to the page so I can have a look ?

This seems to be a css issue since our theme uses bootstrap classes for grids.

Looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Thanks,
Shane

Hello Shane,

We are still testing.
On the screenshot you can see all the posts are mixed up. We would the layout to be like Divi's.

We can provide an admin user login for you.

Best regards,

Ed

Hello Shane,

Also, the Divi grid adapts to different screen types. "Our Toolset one" does not (as yet).

Many thanks and best regards,

Ed

Hi Eddie,

Does Divi provide a grid style layout ?

If so then you can adopt the view with the appropriate classes and divs so that it can display like one of Divi's native grid layouts.

Please let me know if this helps.
Thanks,
Shane

Hello Shane,

No, Divi does not have a grid layout for posts. A pity. And setting up a nice grid with Toolset Layouts and Divi integration seems to be complicated.

Featured image? I can see no featured image for the custom post type we created. Some plugins to process cpt fields require one.

How can we "mark" an image as featured image in Types?

Many thanks and best regards,

Ed

Hi Eddy,

Actually it should be 🙁 this means that we are failing on our part to allow for ease of use for our customers.

Would you mind providing me with admin access so I can see if I can assist better with the setting up of the Grid.

The private fields will be enabled for your next response.

Thanks,
Shane
