[Custom field settings]

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

need some clarification on the settings for custom fields, lets take radio buttons as example.

Radio button have :
options - Display Text - Custom field Content
and
Value to show
value from database or option title 1 value

Am I right to think that the Custom field content is the value saved in the database.

If so, should I have a separate value for each option like in Img 1 or can I have the same value as in Img 2. Considering I may want to add up the number of submissions per option and show total in a view.

I replied to your post on Facebook already I think.
I would save unique values so to keep them apart when querying later, or displaying the value, or using it for some conditions.
