[Resolved] Custom field dropdown options into Toolset user registration form

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:

The main issue here is that the user has a post custom field but want to add it to their user form.

Solution:

Unfortunately it is not possible to add a custom post field to a user form, because they are Custom post Fields are meant for Custom post Types.

To work around this you will need to re-create the exact field as a User Custom field in order to add it to your user form.

How can I get these dropdown items (from a custom field called "Select Employer") into a Toolset form for user registration?

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Actually this field won't be able to get added to a user registration form since this is a Post Field.

You will need to recreate this exact field as a user field by going to Toolset -> Custom Fields -> User fields and creating the field.

Then go to your Form and edit it then just drag the field to the form.

Thanks,
Shane
