Hi there,

I've created a custom post type called "Artist of the Month," and its slug is "aotm."

In my theme, I've created a custom archive page named "archive-aotm.php." WordPress does not seem to recognize this page, loading archive.php instead. (The active template is visible using the Query Monitor plugin.) I deactivated virtually all of my plugins (except Toolset-related plugins), and still the custom page wasn't recognized.

This may be an issue with the theme, but I'm uncertain and figured I would try here first.

Thank you.

Saul

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

I believe Toolset has nothing to do with the theme's custom PHP template either single post template or archive template.

What if you try to use another theme and add the custom PHP archive template you created to that theme and check if that works.
