CSV import with a non paid plugin

This support ticket is created 5 years, 10 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hi,

I was trying to import data via CSV, and I was going through the link: https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/how-to-import-content-into-wordpress-using-csv/import-csv-ultimate-csv-importer-plugin/how-to-import-posts-from-csv-files-and-maintain-relationships-when-using-the-csv-importer-plugin/

WP CSV Ultimate pro and WP All import both seem to need the pro versions to support custom fields. It seems like CSV import and the new version CSV import pro do not work. I tried various other options, but nothing seems to be available that also supports custom fields and custom post types.

Just wanted to check if you can suggest any reliable non-paid version of a CSV importer, that can work with both custom fields and post types.

It seems like CSV import and the new version CSV import pro do not work.
Can you share the CSV file you're using so I can take a look? I don't have any other CSV import recommendations for you, because most of the robust CSV import tools are paid plugins.
