I am trying to: Access the Porto "Theme Options" page of the Porto dashboard.
Link to a page where the issue can be seen: hidden link
I expected to see: The "Theme Options" page
Instead, I got: This message: "There has been a critical error on this website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.:
Today I updated the plugin "Porto Theme - Functionality" and that's when this problem started. I have deactivated "Toolset Blocks" and "Toolset Types" for now, so that I can continue working with the Porto Theme Options section (entering custom CSS).
I'm wondering if it's simply not a good idea to continue trying to make Toolset work with our theme, if these issues are going to keep popping up. I would appreciate your honest opinion about that. We can rebuild the Toolset-based sections of our website using other tools, if necessary.
I provided all the Site Access info in my other support ticket last month. Let me know if you need that info again.
Basically - Toolset works with any plugin or theme, but at some point you may experience possible conflict between the existing theme/plugin you use and this may happen with any theme/plugin you use.
Can you please share more details what critical error you see?
Also, what if you try to use the workaround shared with above errata page - does that makes any difference?
The errata page shows the solution to my last problem. This is a new problem. Please see my support request for details and let me know if I need to provide access to the website again. I provided it last time (a few weeks ago) but I don't know if you store that info.
Ok - so I checked the theme options page and I found the following fatal error when Toolset (Types/Blocks) plugin is active:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 987136 bytes) in /wordpress/wp-includes/script-loader.php on line 2910
Can you please try to raise the PHP/WordPress memory limit for your install.
