Hi,

maybe I´m seeing something wrong here, but imho, cred_link_form should be different:

As far as I can see, it always loads the page it´s on and then ON THAT PAGE the edit form will appear.

Imho it would be MUCH better to have a dedicated edit page, so that link should be something like that:

<a href="/editpage/?cred-edit-form=XXXXX&_id=[wpv-post-id]" target="_blank">

This gives us a much shorter URL, and, REALLY IMPORTANT, it prevents DRAMA when editing a page with an integrated view e.g.!

What do you think?

Thank you, kind regards 🙂

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this and you can easily create the dedicated edit page as per your choice.

Here is the official Doc about how you can create and display the edit forms:
- https://toolset.com/course-lesson/front-end-forms-for-editing-content/

Regarding dedicated page - you can obviously create that dedicated as users have different choice of dedicated edit page so we can not bind that, if you want dedicated page you can create one and add the edit form to it and get the edit post ID from the URL param.

My issue is resolved now. Thank you!

I find this is getting unnecessarily complicated in recent times....
