CRED notifications are triggering even when field has not changed!

This support ticket is created 6 years, 9 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have a notification attached to a CRED form - and it is only supposed to send if a specific field has CHANGED (the box is ticked).

HOWEVER the notification is triggering anyway - even when the field stays the same - every time the form is updated or deleted or restored or whatever - the notification goes every time - even though the field has not changed at all!

Help!

Hi can you provide some additional information?
- What type of CRED form is this - Create New or Edit? Post, CPT, or User?
- Is this form connected to CRED Commerce?
- Is the behavior the same if you temporarily activate the parent Divi theme?
- Please take a screenshot of the Email Notification editor in wp-admin and include it in your next reply so I can see the configurations.
