Hi Everyone
I don't have a solution yed and my second thread is marked as CLOSED or RESOLVED, but i have still no solutions. Check the threat here: https://toolset.com/forums/topic/cred-notification-mail-blank-after-toolset-update-2/
What about usermeta="" ? How can i use them.
For more than a month i am waiting for a solution.
Thank you for your feedback
Hi, please try using the following syntax to show user meta fields in a CRED notification:
[types usermeta="first_name" user_id="%%USER_USERID%%"][/types]
Replace "first_name" with the slug of your user field. Let me know if this works for you.
Dear Christian,
Thank you for your fast answer, that worked, but the cred_generic_fields are now not working ( %%Newsletter%%) ). Have you any idea where could be the problem?
Thank you for your feedback
The custom placeholder %%Newsletter%% isn't a standard placeholder, so additional PHP code is required to support it. Can you share the code you have implemented? More information about this can be found here:
https://toolset.com/documentation/user-guides/how-to-use-custom-placeholders-in-cred-notifications/
[cred_generic_field field='Newsletter' type='checkbox' class='' urlparam='']
{
"required":0,
"validate_format":0,
"checked":1,
"default":"Ja",
"label":"Ich wünsche News und andere offizielle Informationen der MidAmateure.CH auf elektronischem Weg zu erhalten"
}
[/cred_generic_field]
and then to display it on the notification mail i used this: %%Newsletter%%)
It's strange because this had worked before.
Thank you for youf feedback
Hi, could you copy + paste the contents of your theme's functions.php file here? You may delete or obscure any confidential information. If the placeholder worked before, perhaps some code was added to support it.

It looks like this is the functions.php file from a default WP theme, Twenty Sixteen. I don't see any code here to support the %%Newsletter%% custom placeholder, so I am guessing that it was added to another theme. Are you aware if your theme was updated recently, or changed from a different theme to Twenty Sixteen? If it was updated recently, any code added to the theme in the past would have been overwritten. If it was changed recently, you may still be able to find the code in an inactive theme currently installed on your site. Do you have any ideas about what may have happened?
The problem was with Events Manager Plugin. Now it's working.
Thanks a lot for your Support
