CRED Multipart forms

Problem:
When will CRED provide support for multipart forms?

Solution:
It is one of the most requested features for CRED. When work on Types 3.0 (and related updates for the other plugins) completes in April we will then be able to switch resources towards adding support for such popular features.

This support ticket is created 6 years, 8 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

Hello there,

I've seen mention on the forums (some from over 2 years ago) saying that the Toolset Developers are working on MultiPart form functionality in CRED. Is there now an ETA for this?

Apart from minor/simple requests, most feature requests haven't received much attention for some time now as the main development focus has been on adding repeating field groups and improving post relationships, and we are nearing the end of that major development cycle.

We will then have developer resources freed up to work on other features, and over the next few weeks we will be reviewing requests to prioritise what to work on.

The most popular request for CRED is to use the WP media uploader to be able to drag and drop multiple images to upload, but there are also quite a few requests for multi-part CRED forms, and I'm making a note to see if it is possible to include that in the next phase of work that will start in the spring.

Thank you for your response. On a similar note however, I notice that Repeatable Groups cannot be added to CRED forms at the moment. As you say this is a recent release - do you know when this will happen - as quite a vital element to using the Repeating Groups element to the new releases!

Yes, that's coming soon. There will be another CRED beta release with this before the final plugin updates are published.

I don't know when that will be but I would hazard a guess at a week or two.
