Hello,

We have create a dummy Cred Form for frontend posts. We have added a feature image field

[cred_field field='_featured_image' output='bootstrap']

If the user does not add any featured image, the created post has a specific image (like default image).

If we remove the field the post has not any image.

Thank you

Hi Aris,

This shouldn't be the case. A placeholder shouldn't be inserted.

Could you send me a screenshot of the placeholder on the backend?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Aris,

You posted "the created post has a specific image (like default image)."

I would like to see a screenshot of the featured image section of a post on the post edit screen on the backend to see what is added to the field.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Aris,

That is strange and shouldn't happen at all.

Would you mind allowing me to have admin access to the site as well as a link to where the form is so that I can have a look at this for you ?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Aris,

DO you have any custom code that is targeting this form ?

Also if you created a new form with the exact same fields does the same issue occur?

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

We have the same issue with the Default Avada theme (without custom code). This form is a clear new form with only 3 fields and the issue exists. When we create a custom post directly from the backend no default image exist

Hi Aris,

Would you mind if I grabbed a copy of your site to see what is happening here ?

This way I can perform my testing without messing with your live site.

Please let me know.

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Aris,

I'm trying to search for any clues to this in your site on the copy.

However can you recall as to when did this issue started to occur?

Thanks,
Shane

Hi Shane,

we don't know where this starts to happen. In a clear installation does it happen?

Hi Aris,

No in a fresh installation this does not happen at all.

We've released an update to the forms could you update and let me know what happens.

Thanks,
Shane

We have update everything but the issue exists.

We have disabled theme and plugins, we have uninstall and install the forms plugin

Hi Aris,

I'm going to escalate this one to our 2nd tier supporters as i'm not seeing any reason for this to be happening.

This definitely need further debugging.

Thanks,
Shane
