This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
If you change a post title with a Toolset Form it doesn't update the permalink.
Solution:
That's correct, which is just the same behaviour as editing posts in the WordPress backend.
To do so you would use the CRED API, namely the cred_save_data hook, to trigger a code snippet that would modify the post_name field.
