When someone opens a page containing a form a temporary post is generated with an autodraft title (and auto-draft status).
When the form is submitted the auto-draft post is removed and replaced with the final post using the data from the form submission.
If a user abandons the form, so that the auto-draft is not deleted, a clean-up routine subsequently deletes them. (I'm not sure of the interval.)
I'm not sure why a form notification would be triggered for an auto-draft post where the post wasn't submitted.
If the form does not include a post title field then the resulting final post will still have an auto-draft title.
Was this a one-time event? Perhaps something slipped twixt cup and lip with this particular submission, and it won't be repeated. But if it occurs with every submission we'd need to review your form settings to better understand why.
