Hi, I have a page for coliving services in Canada. But I would like to create one for a different country to show only that specific country's cities and the filter option will only need to have that particular country.
What would be the best practice to do this instead of creating different field groups, views, post form etc.
Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.
Pleaes check the following Doc:
Are you looking to have a Country => State filter? If yes, you will have to configure Country and its related state with post types as Country and States. you should build one to many relationship between the Country post type and States post type so once country have many states.
Hi Minesh, thanks for your answer.
This filter option is great but my need is a bit different. For SEO purposes, I will need to create separate pages. For example, I use the following page for Canada.
hidden link
I need to create another page for Mexico saying.
hidden link
Yes - but how to identify that this page is for Canada:
- hidden link
Do you have assigned any taxonomy or field so that we can identify that the above page belongs to Canada and how to know Canada's related States (the states belongs to Canada)?
Yes, Canada's structure was all set a long time ago. I will just need to add Mexico's structure same as Canada's.
Would you like to check the current structure before I have to copy all the process? I would appreciate your practical support on this update.
Can you please show me how you setup the structure for Canada?
*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.
I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.
Unfortunately - the admin access details you shared is not working at this end.
Can you pleasse send me working admin access details.

I see the field group maxico is set to display with all post type.
On Edit custom field group page:
- hidden link
Can you click on "Edit" button and set with what post type you want to display that field and when? I mean how system will know that this field group should be displayed when with what posts?
Hi Minesh, thank you for your answer. I need to assign the custom fields to a custom post type. However, I am still stuck on the path to change the structure of the website.
The website was only for Canada, and now we need to add another country, which complicates things as it wasn't a plan before.
The new page structure will be like the following:
hidden link
hidden link
hidden link
hidden link
On the property page of Mexico, I just want to show properties from Mexico and there should be only Mexico lists appearing on the Google Map.
I am not so sure whether I need to create another post type, custom fields etc for the Mexico page or if there is an easier way to achieve this result. If you can help me create Mexico listings at least, I would appreciate it so much.
Normally - you should have a Post type Countries where you can add all country names and another post type States and create one to many post relationship so once country can have many states.
Your current structure looks mess and I'm afraid we can not correct it as we can offer support if there is issue with Toolset feature but not the strcture.
When I visited the poge you shared: hidden link
- It shows 404 page not found error.
Maybe you are planning to create a new post type coliving and add the new posts to it like canada, vancover etc..etc..
If so, you can go ahead first and decide your site structure and put all your requirement on board and then decide what post types, taxnomies, custom fiels you will require. If you do not know how to do it, maybe this is a right time to check with any system analyst as if you have any requirement changed in future, it should not put you is situation you are now.
Also, you may forget to answer my previous question.

The website was structured only for Canada initially and that's why it was structured like this. The current change was unexpected.
It is normal to get 404 because I haven't changed the URL structure yet. It is the URL structure that I plan to have.
I don't know what changes you made but the pages below don't show listing neither map pins.

Could you please check these pages urgently?
Well - I did not make any changes to those pages.
I didn't change anything on the website as well. How come everything got broken? Can you please check this out?
Update: Seems back to normal.

=> To answer the message: The post type (I meant the design of the post) and custom fields will remain exactly how it is for Canada. Seems like I just need to create a taxonomy for Mexico. For any other country we may possibly add on our porfolio, I can just add that country's taxonomy. And keep using same post type and custom fields. Is it possible to handle the current situation like this?

=> To answer the message: I deactivated this group fields to solve the issue earlier.
Hi Minesh, I just wanted to follow up for your support in this matter. Thank you very much!
