Hello,

I have headeach with this plugin to create a View (search + map) in Elementor. There is a Toolset element in Elementor to import a View, but should I create this view ? is it in another page ? a draft page ?

This plugin should have a View template, and Views should be customizable in popular template builder such as Elementor. I don't understand it's not the case. The documentation show View creation with Gutemberg but as you know most people don't use Gutemberg. Simple things get very complicated.

I have create a page with a View in Gutemberg, and inserted the View in another page with Elementor. My problem is that the section that contain the view doesn't have the same width, so my question is how I resize the view section of the page ? I need the same width on all pages.

Best,
Florent

Hi Forent,

Thank you for getting in touch.

To use views with Elementor you will need to use the classic builder for views. If this is not already enabled you can go to Toolset -> Settings and scroll to Editing Experience and select the 3rd option.

Once the page saves just refresh and you should have the option Toolset->Views.

From there you can create your view in the classic editor. To insert the view into your elementor Template you can use the Toolset Views widget that is provided with elementor or you can use the shortcode.
[wpv-view name='my-view']

Where my-view is the slug of the view.

Thanks,
Shane
