Created a new content template for a event post type and it's not working

This support ticket is created 3 years, 5 months ago. There's a good chance that you are reading advice that it now obsolete.

This is the technical support forum for Toolset - a suite of plugins for developing WordPress sites without writing PHP.

Everyone can read this forum, but only Toolset clients can post in it. Toolset support works 6 days per week, 19 hours per day.

I have created a content template using a block editor, while editing I can see in the preview that the template is working fine and showing everything correctly but when I create a new post type for the type I am assigning the template to, the content is empty.

Please let me know if there is something I am doing wrong or how I could debug this and find the issue.

That link you shared doesn't work, there seems to be no such post.

If you are able to visit a post on the front end where you are expecting the custom template to be used but which doesn't output the expected content, then I would edit the post in the back end and double-check that it says in the sidebar settings that it will use the content template you expect.
