Thank you for contacting Toolset support. Are you trying to create a slider using any Slider plugin or using Views slider? Please provide back-end screenshots of your slider View if you are using Views Slider.
I have tried to create a featured image Slider using Views on three CPTs, and it is working fine. I have attached the screenshot of my Slider View.
