This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.
Problem:
The issue here is that the user wanted to create a form that would allow their customers to only edit their own posts.
Solution:
This should be possible with our access plugin.
Could you install it and then set the permissions of the custom post type to Edit_Own for the role.
