[Resolved] CPT Revisions not appearing

This thread is resolved. Here is a description of the problem and solution.

Problem:
CPT Revisions not appearing
Solution:
The revision metabox will not show up until there are actually revisions for the post. If there are no revisions, the revision meta box will not show. The Revisions box won't appear after enabling Revisions on your CPT unless you make some changes and save a few times first. It’s WordPress default behavior not related to toolset.

In the CPT settings I have revisions selected ("Allows revisions to be made of your post.") but in the CPT revisions are not visible.

Hello Timothy,

Thank you for contacting Toolset support. We have another client who had the similar issue and was also able to solve it:

Thank you

I read through the post you referred but that post was not resolved so there's no real answer there. I did test the poster's idea and adjusted a post title, after which the Revisions option and panel did appear for that specific post. But that doesn't solve my issue. I'd have to go into hundreds of posts to make an adjustment to the title for the Revisions panel to appear.

You can check it on default WordPress page/post while Toolset is deactivated.

Ok, and I see from other posts that custom fields do not register with revisions so changes with them won't trigger the revisions box or get recorded. Too bad.
