The is is on wordpress version 6.6.1
Toolset Access Version 2.9.1
WPML Multilingual CMS Version 4.6.13

We currently have a custom post type called article, when you log in as an admin the cover image shows fine, but when you log in as a custom role you cannot see it, it doesn’t display under the screen options either.

Under post types, they have access to Media, all of it and the same with the news article post type. In the Custom roles they have access to the obvious ones like upload_files. I’ve tried to give them pretty much every permission in the other capabilities but the cover image will not show for that role. Is there a way to debug it so find out which permission is missing?

Hello. Thank you for contacting the Toolset support.

Can you please share admin access details as well as access details with the custom role and tell me what steps I will have to follow in order to see the issue.

*** Please make a FULL BACKUP of your database and website.***
I would also eventually need to request temporary access (WP-Admin and FTP) to your site. Preferably to a test site where the problem has been replicated if possible in order to be of better help and check if some configurations might need to be changed.

I have set the next reply to private which means only you and I have access to it.

Strangely it required vc_access_rules_backend_editor permission which it didn't before
