I am trying to: i have had a Content Template for my post for more than a year now. With one of the recent updates all my Content Templates won't show up in the listing. it says i have two but won't list them. now my news post Content Template won't attach to the post and i have to go manually every time to bind them.

Checking on the content template page, i'm able to see the content template. See Screenshot
So i'm not experiencing the issue that you have. Also in order to translate the content templates you need the Translation Management plugin from WPML.
