Hi
When creating a new content template for single custom posts the block editor is empty at first. Then I add one field and save the ct. When a single post is displayed the page includes the value of the chosen custom field but above it also displays ct title as heading that I never selected/added in the editor. Why ? is there a way not to show that heading ? or is it a bug ?
thanks

Hi Nicola,

Thank you for getting in touch.

This is certainly not a bug. What is happening here is that your theme is defaulting to displaying the post title. In this case you will need to hide with some css .

If you provide me with a link to the page I can provide you with the css to hide this.

Thanks,
Shane

Thank you Shane, your indication was very useful as always. I am using the Kadence theme (free), so I went to Customizing ▸ Custom Post Types and deselected Show title.
Many thanks and regards
Nicola
