I am trying to add new content to a custom post type on my site, and now when I load the editor, it just loads the standard editor. All the custom fields associated with the cpt are gone and I have no idea how to reenable them. This happened after I updated my site to version 5.8.1. Any ideas on how to fix it?
Hello and thank you for contacting Toolset support.
I am sorry, but I am a bit confused. Are you talking about the content template editor, or about the custom posts editor?

Please share a URL(on the backend) where I can see this issue.
Hi Jamal,
I am talking about the content editor in the backend where you go to write/input your content. For example, I have a "Review" CPT which has custom fields such as "Year Of Release," "Running Time," "Warning" etc. Now when I try to create a new Review post, I just get the standard WordPress editor. All the custom fields that I associated with the Review CPT are gone and I can't enter data into them.

Hi Jamal,
After I sent you the login credentials, I tried to create a new Review post to test it again. Now it seems I can see the custom fields assigned to the Review CPT. So weird. They weren't there yesterday, I swear!
My issue is resolved now. Thank you!
